Plymouth City Market at Frankfort Gate – formerly Plymouth Pannier Market – has provided a focal point for local traders and shoppers for almost fifty years. With deliveries every day, you can guarantee all of our food produce is fresh and of superb quality. Many of the branded goods sold in the market are at knock down prices if compared to other household goods and hardware sold around the stores in Plymouth - we would challenge anyone to find branded batteries elsewhere in the city centre cheaper than ours in Plymouth City Market. What ever you are looking for; be prepared to find a lot more, at excellent value for money and all under one roof.

More recently, Plymouth City Market has been undergoing some changes and improvements, this is in keeping with future proposals to become the best covered market in the South West – and we’re not far off it now.

Our own 50's style coffee shop/diner is now open on the ground floor of the market. Our disabled patrons and those of you who have difficulty with the stairs can now enjoy our freshly made coffee, speciality teas and snacks.
